Welcome to the site! Our intention is to serve as a tool of communication to increase the effectiveness of our efforts to strengthen race relations in the body of Christ.
The Christian Reformed Church of North America (CRCNA) mandates the Ministry of Race Relations. The church leaders gather three or four times a year to deliberate on the ordination of new ministries, progress of local churches and any theological issues that may have an impact on the life of the local church. In its 2010 Fall Meeting, they opted to include a team that would help them stay on course with their intent of growing diversity, unity and justice. In doing so,the Greater Los Angeles team made up of CRCNA churches located in the LA area and its surrounding cities developed a race relations strategic plan for the Classis. Part of the work is to establish a website that will help churches promote their own events to address racism, grow multiculturalism, and increase mutual respect among church members and community members.
